Reverend Norman send his regrets

Dear Boys,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that I will be unable to join you for your radio show as planned.

The reason is that I was called away quite suddenly on some state business. It looks like I will be gone for about ninety days this time.

I'm staying at a big house outside of Raleigh, and I'm working on getting you boys up here, too.

I never did like Raleigh because they sell liquor there. And the liquor they sell is not very good.

Please don't say anything about all this on the radio, on the off chance somebody might be listening.

Humbly and sincerely I remain,

Your friend,

Reverend Norman Tabernacle, D.D.T.

P.S.,

Please remember me to the receptionist there at the station. I tried my best "O, Why Not Tonight?" on her, but she never.
